About

Everything has structure. Finding it lets you see the same thing through different lenses — a system, a product, a market, a decision — and I try not to respect the borders between them. Lately that mostly means AI, building products, and how to think well about both.
I get distracted by how things work. I'm wrong a lot, and mostly just try to be wrong faster than last time.
I've built a few things — most notably Azide Performance, a computer-vision startup for sprint analysis that reached around 50,000 people, built end to end from the model through to distribution (see an example here ↗). These days I'm usually working on several things at once, and what they are tends to change; the smaller ones surface here as writing.
